KeIr Lynch, BIONERDS
Keir Lynch is a committed conservationist with over 15 years of experience in South Africa. He is director of Bionerds. His professional experience includes working in the tourism and guiding sector at some of South African top game lodges as well as establishing private nature reserves in the Western Cape. More recently he has focused his skills to protecting the critically endangered rivers, watercourses and wetlands in the Overberg Region. Through his recent work he discovered an unknown population of the Critically Endangered Pseudobarbus sp. “burchelli Heuningnes”. He is currently completing his MSc in Conservation Biology, at the University of Cape Town with a focus on threats facing indigenous fish in the Cape Floristic Region. He is often found wandering around the wilderness at night looking for strange creatures.
