Timothy Moloi
Born and raised in Orlando, Soweto, Timothy Moloi grew up surrounded by music, developing a deep passion for performance. His smooth, velvet voice and impressive range have made him one of South Africa's most celebrated talents. After completing his studies at Ohio Wesleyan University in 1999, Timothy returned to South Africa and quickly established himself as a dynamic performer. He has graced stages with renowned orchestras such as the KwaZulu-Natal and Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestras and has performed alongside the Soweto Gospel Choir.
A career highlight was performing the song "Hope" at the opening ceremony of the 2010 FIFA World Cup to an estimated global audience of 500 million. Timothy’s debut album, Love That Music, received critical acclaim, and he has appeared on numerous South African television programs, including the MTN South African Music Awards and Miss South Africa.
Timothy has also performed at prestigious events like the Africa Peace Awards, Oprah Winfrey’s Live Your Best Life event, and the FIFA 2010 World Cup bid banquet. His stage credits include roles in productions like Motown Gold and The Little Shop of Horrors. A passionate advocate for social causes, he is an ambassador for 67 Blankets for Nelson Mandela Day.
