Renée And Wessel van den Berg

Renée van den Berg is trained as a music therapist and woodwind player and has worked in a diverse range of community-based contexts in the Western Cape. Currently based at her studio in Stellenbosch, she also lectures in the Woodwind Department of Stellenbosch University. She is passionate about transdisciplinary work incorporating the therapeutic value of music and the arts. In addition to her teaching work, she is a highly experienced applied arts practitioner and facilitates music & wellbeing workshops with her partner, Wessel van den Berg in the Winelands and Overberg.

​Wessel van den Berg (PhD) is a social facilitator with extensive experience in individual, group and community process work. He is passionate about valuing care in society and working with fathers and other men who care for children. He has a background in using sound, gesture and movement for personal healing.
